Criteria to choose industrial fans

While choosing industrial fans or blowers one needs to go by certain specifications. If you have larger manufacturing plant you have to decide on the type of industrial fans or blower depending on the process requirements and cost factor.

Here are the factors to choose industrial blowers:

Air flow and static pressure- If you have make-up units requiring replacement of 300 cu ft, the blower need to have 250 cfm speed rate.

Energy efficiency: Low horsepower and backwardly inclined industrial fans require less energy. If a manufacturing plant needs an application of 20,000 cfm at 6" of pressure, you need to arrange for at least 12 industrial fans each having 30 to 60 hp energy.

Used material: In corrosive environments, polypropylene can be used for industrial blowers. In comparison to fibre glass, it has better structural formation, resistant to corrosion and will not de-laminate. If the environment temperature is above 200 degree, fibre glass is used.
